Tottenham’s Efficient Transfer Business and Settling Wags
Tottenham Hotspur has wasted no time in strengthening their squad this month, with the signings of Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin. The Wags of the new arrivals seem to be settling in well, as they were seen playing Monopoly together.
Timo Werner, who has returned to London on loan from RB Leipzig, and Radu Dragusin, who has signed a permanent deal from Genoa, are the latest additions to Ange Postecoglou’s squad at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And it seems that their loved ones are already getting along as they adjust to life in north London.
A photo shared on social media showed Dragusin’s sister, Meira, and Werner’s fiance, Paula Lense, enjoying a game of Monopoly with Dragusin’s girlfriend, Ioana Stan. They were playing the “Spurs Edition” of the game, which features Tottenham-related replacements for the usual spaces.
Both Werner and Dragusin could make their debut for the club on Sunday when Spurs face Manchester United at Old Trafford. A win in this match could potentially see Tottenham leapfrog their bitter rivals Arsenal and sneak into the top four.
It won’t be an easy task, however, as Erik ten Hag’s side has been unpredictable this season, especially against big teams. The support from Ioana Stan and Paula Lense will surely be a source of motivation for Dragusin and Werner as they settle into their new club.
Ioana Stan, Dragusin’s girlfriend, is a trainee architect, and the pair have been together since 2021. Paula Lense has been with Timo Werner for over seven years and has a sizable following on social media. The pair met during Werner’s first spell at RB Leipzig. With the support of their loved ones and the excitement of a new challenge ahead, both players will be eager to make an impact for Tottenham.
